Construction notes and links to builders' pages

Fugu built by Robert Harper

This is a litte page I dedicated to the construction process for Fugu. Fugu was built in an old chicken coop in my back yard. I did not have a garage door so I had to squeeze her out of the "shop" without the deck and hull being joined.

I hope you enjoy the photo's.

For photo's of Fugu under sail, follow this link... Early sailing photo's of Fugu

Bill Scheuman

Bill Scheuman has a site set up on Live Spaces where he also has photo's from his completion of someone else's boat, regatta photo's, and work done on his second Swift Solo. Bill came down to Florida for our first ISSA regatta and was a huge help. We've missed him the last couple of years and hop to see him in 2008 with his new Swift Solo.

Steve Nichols

Steve Nichols, our first Aussie has a page here. He has some construction photo's and comments posted. Feel free to comment on his progress. I very much enjoyed sailing with him at the second annual ISSA NA's in Ft. Desoto, Florida in 2006.

David Kerr

David Kerr has been building hist boat in the basement of his home in Bountiful just a few miles up the road from me. This is so exciting for me because there will be another Swift in my area. I see some match racing in our future.

David is also a convert from the I14's. He has a nice I14 that is yet to be fully converted to the new rules and I've not had a chance to try it on for size yet. Maybe we'll have to take a day where we haul all of our toys to the lake and try them all out.

I hope you are better at reading German than I am. The progress looks great!
I think the fork lift is a bit of overkill though.
