Membership application International Swift Solo Class Association
Welcome to the International Swift Solo Class Association . The class organization relies heavily for its support on the income received from membership dues to organize and run class activities, regattas, sailing clinics and to support the class website etc. Please keep your membership current and help the class association grow and do its thing. Beginning his year with the development of the new class website, online voting and access to additional web content will be available only to members in good standing. While establishing or renewing your membership please complete all details so that we can contact you occasionally with important notices and information. Also Note, During this year there will be no late penalty for members who have forgotten to remit dues. Thanks for supporting your Class Association.
Ordinary Membership: $25
Ordinary members in good standing (defined in the constitution clause 2), may enter and or helm a boat at Swift Solo fleet events and race in regional or international championships or other ISSA sanctioned regattas (subject to the class rules and entry requirements in the NOR or SI). Ordinary members are entitled to hold executive office to attend international and national general meetings and be a member of his or her national association. Ordinary members may have access to class building and construction information such as rigging manuals etc. that may not be available to the public. Ordinary members shall not vote on class matters.
Boat owning membership:$50
A Member who is an owner or part owner of a registered Swift Solo may join the association as a "Boat-owning Member". Privileges, in addition to those of an ordinary Member are: to vote on class matters, except that part owners of a boat may not cast more than one vote between them per boat.
Don't worry, we wont give out you profile information or email address to anyone. We use the information to keep the class records up to date, and from time to time we may send you an email about the class web site. But we promise not to take advantage of it.
